I'm back...almost!

Well, what a few months this has been!

Since April, I've had to help more and more with caring for a relative who has 'special needs'. It came to a head in September when she had to have an operation for Cancer. I had to concentrate on getting her through that and so had to leave my designing behind for a while.

But with the start of Advent at the weekend, and knowing that some people, like me, keep a Christmas Journal of some kind, detailing the build up to Christmas and then their celebrations, it seemed like a good time to create some packs of papers, journal blocks and date tags to help with that!

I know I'm always pushed for time throughout December and creating a page a day can be difficult. When you factor in choosing from all the stash most of us possess, LOL, it can add on a lot of time! So I thought I would create these packs, in three different colour ways, to help out!

Of course I also have some other Christmas papers in my Etsy store, as well as templates, which can be a real help on days when time really is of the essence!

I'll be uploading the new items to my Etsy store shortly, but for now, here's a preview of what will be available!

Summer Breeze - the perfect kit for scrapping those summer holiday photos! As the very very warm weather dissolves into cooler and perhaps slightly greyer days, there is still lots of fun to be had!

This kit is wonderful for showing off your summer photos...and would be great for Autumn as well for that matter! The papers are wonderfully textured and the elements can be used in so many ways to build up your creative, artistic and traditional pages! Great for art journaling too!

For some of the LOs shown I used my Marguerite Templates which can be found in my store HERE!

This kit contains 20 papers (patterns and plains) and 57 elements!

A Little brag!!

I received my complementary copy of Somerset Digital Studio today (have a nosey here if you haven't heard of it! http://stampington.com/somerset-digital-studio) and thanks to the lovely ladies of ViVa Artistry I have a LO published in there!

I wish I could afford this mag on a subscription as it is absolutely inspirational and full of such beautiful artwork! It's a real honour to have my page included in there, along with my details!!

So, now I'm an internationally published artist, LOL!!!!

Congrats to Cynthia Taylor and Elysah Hagenaars as well - they too have beautiful LOs 

made with ViVa stash in the publication!!

Come and say hello to my NEW Etsy Store!

The Boomerang Store Designers are in the process of repackaging their wares 

and moving them across to Etsy!

I've made a start and have today opened my store! More stock will be added once it is repackaged 

(file sizes have to be much smaller there!). HERE is my Store!

Freebie Mini kit just for you!

As I've had an enforced quiet period lately, I made this mini kit FREEBIE for you to make up for that!

With a nod towards 4th July and yet versatile enough to be used for any occasion, it's a little bit different in style to my usual fare! The patterned papers were hand coloured by me before scanning and editing, as were some of the elements. I really enjoyed myself making this mini, and hope you like it as much as I do! Below is a preview, as well as some pages I made myself...can you tell I loved using Red, White & Blue?!
